Colony characteristics

Colonies (SGA) white, flat, velvety, with sharp margin; reverse pale yellow.

Microscopy

Hyphae hyaline, thin- and smooth-walled, producing intercalary, lateral or terminal, (sub)spherical chlamydospores up to 35 μm diam. Sexual state unknown.

Pathogenicity

RG-1, BSL-1. Brasch et al. (2024) reported the species from a superficial skin infection.
