napiform – with the shape of a turnip.

niche – environment where fungus is in active interaction with its environment, producing an assimilative thallus and generates progeny.

nodose – with swellings at irregular distances.

nodular body – knot of irregularly intertwined hyphae.

nodule (subcutaneous) – small protruding knob, lump.
